Who is Jeffrey?

Jeffrey is more than one man. All our Jeffrey’s are full- and part-time employees who are hand-picked, and carefully screened through background checks (identity, criminal and credit), references, and in-person interviews. They are exactly the type of people you want in your home: responsible, friendly, and intuitive. Before your first visit, our team will introduce your Jeffrey via email (or in-person) to give a sense of what makes them so special. How do I communicate with my Jeffrey?

Communication between client and client manager is channeled through our customer experience team at Jeffrey headquarters. This ensures that your requests and feedback are registered appropriately, while enabling client managers to deliver a high-quality experience. How do I get started with Jeffrey?

First, sign up here www.jeffreyhelps.ch/#pricing for your chosen subscription. You will then be asked to schedule a welcome appointment at your home at a time that’s convenient for you. During this meeting we do a walk-through of your home to collect your preferences, learn your routine, answer any questions, and pick up a copy of your keys (if necessary).

What does the subscription fee cover?

The subscription covers your visit(s) (depending on the subscription you have chosen), which includes a tidy up and the coordination and handling of all requests. We also bill you for the cost of goods and services you order each week (e.g. groceries, laundry, house cleaning).

Can I request that Jeffrey use my favorite vendors?

Of course, but FYI this can result in a small fee. We are pretty confident you will love our vendors, though - we select them personally for quality.

How often does my Jeffrey visit?

Depending on your subscription, your Jeffrey visits bi-weekly, once a week or twice a week on a set day (every Monday, for example). If you are looking for more visits, send an email happyhelp@jeffreyhelps.ch and ask about Jeffrey’s Bespoke service.

What is your cancellation policy?

You are only billed once a month and you can put your account on hold at any time. However, our service is designed to learn your likes, dislikes, and habits and only gets better over time, so it's best to give it a try for a few months. If you do decide to put your account on hold, just let us know ahead of your next billing and we will make sure you don't get charged.

Are you insured?

Yes, we are insured for up 2 Mio CHF towards damages.

Does Jeffrey work in my city or neighborhood?

Be sure to sign up here happyhelp@jeffreyhelps.ch to see if we're available in your neighborhood. It is our priority that your Jeffrey experience is of the highest quality. At this time we are limiting the number of new members and will be focusing on neighborhoods that have the highest number of signups. Help yourself (and us!) by sharing Jeffrey with your friends.

What exactly can my Jeffrey do?

At Jeffrey helps our goal is to make your life easier by giving you a modern personal “butler” to handle all your errands and chores. We offer three tiers of service:
Basic (59 CHF/week): Your Jeffrey visits ONCE every second week to tidy up (make your bed, take out your trash and straighten up) and also take care of all your errands like watering your plants, picking up your dry cleaning, pharmacy pickup, mail & packages drop off and returns. Additionally you can ask for cleaning up your apartment, doing your laundry and ironing everything. For those services we charge 35.- CHF/hour. During our welcome visit we would look at the size of the apartment & discuss the amount of hours you wish Jeffrey invests during his visits.
Balance (79 CHF/week): Your Jeffrey visits ONCE a week to tidy up (make your bed, take out your trash and straighten up) and also take care of all your errands like grocery & household shopping, watering your plants, picking up your dry cleaning, pharmacy pickup, mail & packages drop off and returns. Additionally you can ask for cleaning up your apartment, doing your laundry and ironing everything. For those services we charge 35.- CHF/hour. During our welcome visit we would look at the size of the apartment & discuss the amount of hours you wish Jeffrey invests during his visits.
Busy (99 CHF/week): Your Jeffrey visits TWICE a week to tidy up (make your bed, take out your trash and straighten up) and also take care of all your errands like grocery & household shopping, watering your plants, picking up your dry cleaning, pharmacy pickup, mail & packages drop off and returns. Additionally you can ask for cleaning up your apartment, doing your laundry and ironing everything. For those services we charge 35.- CHF/hour. During our welcome visit we would look at the size of the apartment & discuss the amount of hours you wish Jeffrey invests during his visits.

How does billing work?

We won't charge you until you start your service. The subscription fee will be charged after your first week of service and every four weeks subsequently. In addition, we will bill you for the cost of any goods or services you received (e.g., groceries, laundry, shoe repair, house cleaning) on a monthly basis. At the end of the month, we will send you an invoice and all your receipts so you know exactly what you are being charged for.

How does Jeffrey choose vendors?

A process that is keen on every detail ensures Jeffrey works with only the best vendors. We do our best to give you a choice, but also aim to work with local small businesses without compromising service or quality.

What if I change my mind about an item on the day my Jeffrey visits?

Why does Jeffrey need my keys and where are they kept?

Jeffrey achieves its promise of giving back your time by handling errands while you are working, traveling or spending time with friends and family. The key is either kept with your doorman or in a secure safe. Your key will only be distributed to your client manager during your service days.
